This website is hosted by an external service provider in Germany. When the pages are accessed, the server automatically collects information that your browser transmits (server log files). This includes:
- IP address
- date and time of the request
- URL accessed
- amount of data transferred
- referrer URL
- browser and operating system used
This data is processed exclusively to ensure technical operation and for error analysis (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is automatically deleted after a short time.
For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the “https://” in your browser's address bar.
If you contact us by email, we will process the information you provide exclusively to process your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. Your data will be deleted as soon as the enquiry has been fully processed and no statutory retention obligations prevent this.
You can submit your application documents to us via the application form on our jobs page. We process the data you submit (name, contact details, CV, cover letter, attachments) exclusively for the purpose of conducting the application process.
The legal basis is § 26 BDSG in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. After completion of the application process, your data will be deleted at the latest after six months, unless an employment relationship is established or you have expressly consented to longer storage.
To protect the application form from automated access (bots), we use “Cloudflare Turnstile”, a service of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.
When a page containing the application form is accessed, a connection to Cloudflare servers is established. Technical information (including IP address, browser data) is processed to check whether the request comes from a human. No cookies are set and no user tracking is carried out.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in preventing misuse). Further information can be found in the Cloudflare privacy policy popup: yes.
To ensure a consistent presentation of fonts, we use “Adobe Fonts” (formerly Typekit), a service of Adobe Systems Software Ireland Companies, 4-6 Riverwalk, Citywest Business Campus, Dublin 24, Ireland.
When our pages are accessed, your browser loads the required fonts from an Adobe server. Your IP address is transmitted to Adobe in the process. According to Adobe, Adobe Fonts does not use cookies for tracking.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a uniform and appealing presentation of our content). Further information can be found in the Adobe privacy notices popup: yes.
This website uses only technically necessary cookies and entries in your browser's local storage – e.g. to store your language selection or to secure form submissions (CSRF token).
This processing is carried out on the basis of § 25(2) TTDSG, as it is strictly necessary for providing the website. No analytics or marketing cookies are set.
